Autodesk is currently in the process of gathering up resources for their upcoming GDC2012 booth, and has asked the community to submit stills and video for inclusion not only at the conference, but on their website, Youtube channel, and more.
We’re especially interested in HD material. Of course, video submissions in other formats are still welcome. We’re also looking for your high-resolution images for inclusion in our marketing throughout the year. The deadline for video and imagery submissions is January 13, 2012.
Autodesk is now accepting entries into their 2011 Design Visualization Show Reel. Pretty much anything along Autodesk’s design lines is eligible, and the winners get a pretty substantial bit of visibility in everything Autodesk.
The show reel will be featured in all Autodesk University sessions from November 29 through December 1, 2011, and to the opening of the Autodesk University main stage presentation on the Autodesk Web site, AREA, and YouTube Channel, as well as various events throughout 2012.
RealFlow has a great SIGGRAPH Demo Reel up on YouTube, showing some of the great work they’ve done for TV, Movies, and commercials over the last year or so. You’ll recognize lots of soft drink commercials, body wash commercials, and a few big movie and video game scenes. Check it out above.

Over at DesignYourWay they’ve collected Demo Reels from 34 of the biggest and best Motion Graphics studios into one convenient list.
You see their work in commercials or in big movies but you never knew who they are or how they do it. They represent the hard working studios which give you those incredible motion graphics effects and animations you love. Most of these made a reel to show off their best work and give you a taste of their capabilities but make sure you watch their full portfolio also cause a few minutes of reel can’t contain their whole work and it would be a shame to miss something.

The 2010 Demo Reel for Houdini is online now, showcasing a great collection of work over the last year from some true masters of the tool
This reel highlights some of the amazing work created by Houdini artists over the last year. From feature films to commercials to student projects and video game cinematics, it is wonderful to see what can be accomplished with Houdini’s visual effects and animation tools.

SIGGRAPH is coming quick, and NewTek is looking for some fantastic examples of 3D Art created with LightWave3D to include in their demo reel. Unfortunately, they are crunched for time so they can really only take stuff already ‘in the can’.
