BusinessWeek has a funny collection reinforcing the popular argument that “Correlation does not imply Causation”. There’s not much to read, but it’s a fun collection of graphs you may want to keep on-hand the next time someone tries to convince you.
With VisWeek starting in 2 weeks, those you are there should print this out and carry it around.
Just like any other bingo! You attend VisWeek and mark those squares that describe what is going on. When you get five in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), you yell “VisWeek!”
Sadly, I won’t be there (other work obligations conflict), but his bingo card is a good mix of inside jokes (Jock Mackinlay) and classic snafu’s (excessive animation, video’s won’t play, red on blue). Take it around, and then let us know how you scored afterwards!

A humorous video from AMD that “shows the risks of using anything but an ATI Radeon graphics card for gaming”. For those of you who can’t watch it, they show a swat team mistakenly infiltrating someone’s house due to unusual heat signatures and power consumption and finding that it’s simply a Fermi graphics card.
It’s a bit backward tho, given that they show “people coming and going at all hours of the day and night”, which would seem to indicate it’s pretty popular.
