I spent time with Don Varga, Marketing Director for Creative Products for the Americas for Wacom, going over the specifications and uses for the monitor, which features:

  • QHD resolution – 2.5K (2560×1440 pixel) display
  • ExpressKey Remote, with a three-mode touch ring and 16 individual customizable buttons (the 17th one is dedicated to always showing the settings of the remote)
  • five USDB3 ports
  • 97% AdobeRGB gamut
  • two models available, with and without touch/gesture response

The Cintiq 27QHD will be available in two models in late January, through the Wacom eStore  (please note this link is to the US online store) and retailers beginning in late January. The Cintiq 27QHD Pen will retail for $2299.99 USD, with the Cintiq 27QHD Pen and Touch available for $2799.99. Availability and pricing may be different in countries other than the United States.
