iDashboards visualizations of the World Cup 2014

iDashboard is offering live interactive data visualizations of the World Cup 2014.

The dynamic visualization will provide World Cup fans with access to global rankings, stadium information, live feeds and features an interactive bracket designed to track the 2014 tournament from the Round of 16 to the final match.  The creation of this dashboard is an independent project and has not been endorsed by FIFA.

Tournament enthusiasts are able to hover over any participating country on the dashboard’s world map and watch the dashboard respond with the team’s world rank, title count and number of tournament appearances. With detailed information including stadium photos, stadium capacity, dates of construction, live weather updates, live RSS feeds from Brazil and six interactive widgets the 2014 World Football Dashboard will provide viewers with a front seat to all of the World Cup action.

“Personally, my interest in the World Cup quadrupled as we began to storyboard these dashboards,” said Ken Rose, Product Marketing,
iDashboards.  “Creating these specialty dashboards provides the opportunity to demonstrate the power of data visualization in a way that is meaningful to more than just business professionals.  We’ve created a dashboard that not only provides soccer fans with insight into the games but also captures the excitement of the competition.”
