Shutterstock’s Global Trends for 2014

Shutterstock has produced a designers’ guide for trends for 2014, based primarily on the usage and downloads from their own library of images and video.

I’m happy to point out that “Fonts that appear to be handwritten or Sketched will be very popular” (attributed to Anja Kaiser). I will go so far as to say that the sketchnoting, doodling, graphic recording, visual facilitation and other forms of visual thinking being captured (both on paper and digitally on touch-sensitive pads and screens) is on the rise.
