The Whitehouse released this infographic two days ago to make a point, saying:
“There’s no doubt that the government shutdown caused unnecessary damage to the economy in October. But there’s still a good story to tell: The economy is growing steadily.”
Whatever your politics may be, the infographic has great visual impact through its simplicity to make its point.
By using straightforward bar charts and practically nothing else, they kept a serious tone to the message—and it is powerful in its simplicity.
