Stan Lee to create exclusive new superheroes for Plotagon storytelling platform
Stan Lee, creator of Spiderman, Fantastic Four, and a slew of superheroes through the Marvel Comics domain, is aiding storytellers with a new application in beta release called Plotagon. He will be creating an exclusive series of superheroes for the Plotagon visual storytelling platform.
Plotagon, is a visual storytelling platform that allows authors to write a screenplay-like script, and the avatar actors perform the story. Plotagon currently comes with 5 big city characters and 6 urban environments that let you get started quickly, but offers other characters and settings in their store. It is meant for the single storyteller and doesn’t have an interactive component, but it does allow the writer to see the story happen while writing the script in realtime. See the video below:
The Plotagon stories are, for the moment, only viewable on their platform. Future developments offer more characters (such as Stan Lee’s superheroes), more backgrounds and music, and wider functionality. It remains to be seen if the stories can be downloaded and shared across YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
