The Evolution of Android

It’s hard to believe that Google’s handheld/mobile OS Android is 5 years old already.  With their clever confectionary naming scheme it’s hard to gauge age, but this infographic chronicles the development of Android from version 1.0 back in September 2008 to the new “Jelly Bean” version coming to Archos tablets and handhelds now.

Things have changed quite a bit from the first operating system, the Android 1.0, to the newest version, Jelly Bean 4.1. How far you ask? We’ll let the “Evolution of Android” do the talking for us on that one. But be prepared…your mind is about to be blown. And by the end, you’ll probably want to buy an ARCHOS Android Tablet of your own.
