Autodesk has finally answered the prayers of animators around the world with their new “ultimate bromance” pack, also knows as the new Ultimate Suite, that brings together 3dsMax and Maya together for the first time into a nice package bundle.
Whether you want to call them the ultimate tag team, the ultimate bromance, or the ultimate dynamic duo, Maya and 3ds Max have come together in the Ultimate Suite to provide you with a complete set of tools that give you the flexibility to tackle any project, any time. With single-step workflows and the ability to create sophisticated effects in Softimage, real-time character animation in MotionBuilder, sculpting and texture painting in Mudbox, and 2D concept art in Sketchbook Designer, the Ultimate Suite offers a complete set of 3D creative tools that unleash your creativity.
Of course, such luxury isn’t cheap: Currently $8000 USD. But for that, you get Maya, 3dsMax, Softimage, MotionBuilder, Mudbox, Sketchbook, along with tools like Turtle, Face Robot, and more.
why not combine all the capabilities of autocad, 3d max, impressions, revit and all your other programs into just one, as in just a single program that has everything under the sun. example you do 2d drawings in it, you create the 3d drawings in it, you do presentations or layout in it , you do special effects in it, you do rendering in it, it has all the material or texture library in it, it has all the people, tress plant and shubs in it like rpc, it hass the 3d blocks in it that you can download anytime like in SKETCHUP to be used in 3d model you created whether exterior or interior, it has all the video tutorials in it to learn it the fastest and easiest way and a lot more……………….just produce one program, a program that allows you to do everything in it without transferring from one program to another…………………lets make things and life simple. just one program to solve everything.
1) It’s not impossible, but very impractical. It’s like saying “why not combine all the countries of the world into one huge country”?
2) There’s no financial incentive. Why would ADSK sell you one product when they can sell you several?
Autocad could be together… but it is great…
