Here’s a new infographic showing the impact of “Tom’s Shoes”, a company dedicated to provided shoes to youth in 3rd world countries through their use of a “buy one/give one” program where every shoe sold means another sent to a underpriviledged child. It’s a bit light on Data Visualization, almost all of which is concentrated in the center third, but it’s a good example of using graphic design to help deliver their point. In addition, they do a good job highlighting some of the other “Side effects” of their endeavor such as increasing school attendance since most schools require shoes.
