Conflict History was released recently as an interactive map with all the major military conflicts, showing that, despite the advances our civilization made in the last couple of centuries, war is far from being something of the past. Al Qaeda’s worldwide attacks, showed here by The Economist, made the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan “justifiable”, but , as we can see on CNN‘s and The New York Times visualizations, the cost of that “response” has been high – too high.
