Mapping Science with Places & Spaces

The iSGTW’s Image of the Week comes from the NSF-funded “Places and Spaces” project which aims to create 10 new maps of massive data a year until 2014, resulting in 100 maps.  Each year has a theme, with the first 5 years down.

You can view the Places & Spaces website to see the existing maps they’ve created, or visit the various physical exhibits they’ve set up.
