Benchmarking NVidia’s new Quadro 5000
Maya Benchmarks
Another product that does a good job illustrating some of the raw power in the new Quadro 5000 is Maya. I personally don’t have a lot of experience with Maya, so I relied instead on the SPECapc Maya 2009 benchmark to do the testing instead. The full test, which takes approximately 4 hours to complete, generates approximately 200 unique test results covering characters, creatures, and environments rendering in wireframe, solid, and fully textured modes. To prevent overwhelming you with charts, here’s some of the more impressive ones.

Again, you see massive improvements when using the Quadro 5000. These are, like I said above, the most dramatic cases, but the Quadro 5000 offers a noticeable benefit in almost every benchmark case.
