Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 3’ a very big winner

Toy Story 3 is the third installment in the Toy Story series. Like the last two films, it is computer-animated, but unlike the last two this one will be in 3-D. It is produced by Pixar and is scheduled for release on June 18, 2010.

But the real question is, will it be any good? After all, while some sequels are good, how many times is the third film in a series any good? I will admit that there are some exceptions. For example, Lord of the Rings comes to mind. But many third films fall flat. Well, here is one reporter’s opinion from CNET:

Let me just say it now: “Toy Story 3” is fantastic. I saw an advanced screening Thursday night, and going back over the notes I took in the dark theater at Pixar’s headquarters here, I find this that I wrote about a third of the way into the film: “I already know it’s a BIG hit.”
