MAK has found a new customer for their 3D visualization solutions in Embraer, who plans to integrate it into their Mission Planning Station & Mission Debriefing Station on the Super Tucano aircraft operation program.  MAK has a 3D visual solution tool called ‘VR-Vantage’ that can integrate several simulation and modeling tools such as SpeedTree, Silver Lining, DI-Guy, and more into a single application.  In particular, they seem interested in the ‘Terrain Agility’ functions that allow data to be imported or streamed from a live GIS application.

Warren KATZ, CEO of VT MÄK, has said that they are delighted that their strategic customer, Embraer has chosen VR-Vantage. Despite a crowded field of competitors, Embraer’s purchase validates VR-Vantage’s value proposition. Clearly customers are seeing the value in all the pre-integrated components and content, as well as the product’s Terrain Agility that finally addresses the chronic terrain database generation and correlation problem.
