TechRadar’s Top 10 best graphics cards in the world today

TechRadar has compiled the “10 Fastest Graphics Cards in the World Today” on their site.

Today, AMD’s Radeon cards are market leading. And even though the prices aren’t quite as attractive as last time around, the ATI Radeon HD 5970 currently holds the title of fastest graphics card in the world.

What's more, ATI has already released a whole range of DirectX 11 compatible cards, while Nvidia is still to release even one.

The result of all this is that the current top 10 is a lot more competitive than ever before. And here it is…

• #9 – NVidia GeForce GTX260 AMP! (Zotac)
• #8 – ATI Radeon HD 4890
• #7 – Nvidia GeForce GTX275
• #6 – ATI Radeon HD 5850
• #5 – ATI Radeon HD 4870X2
• #4 – NVidia GeForce GTX285
• #3 – ATI Radeon HD 5870
• #2 – NVidia GeForce GTX295
• #1 – ATI Radeon HD5970

I take issue with a bit of the list, as it’s not really “In the World” but possibly “Easily consumer available”, as I don’t see any of the more exotic cards on the list such as the TeraRecon VolumePro or the CausticOne/CausticTwo cards.
