Battlestar Galactica Wins with LightWave 3D

battlestar-galacticaBattlestar Galactica may be over, but the awards keep coming.  This time it’s the 2009 Television Critics Association Award for Program of the Year.  NewTek shares in the success as their Lightwave3D was used extensively.

NewTek Inc, manufacturer of industry-leading 3D animation and video products, congratulated “Battlestar Galactica” as the recipient of the 2009 Television Critics Association (TCA) Award for Program of the Year. The program, which relied on NewTek LightWave 3D to create award-winning visual effects, was recognized at the 25th annual TCA Awards in Los Angeles after its final season.
