Two big announcements from Maxon this morning about some secrets they unveiled to the priveledged few at SIGGRAPH.  First off is that  Cinema4D R11.5 is now available, and includes some major enhancements:

This release is the culmination of MAXON’s leading-edge technology and development. It features a substantially re-tooled and accelerated render engine, an all-new Picture Viewer, enhanced interoperability with leading compositing applications, and a major upgrade to its popular MoGraph module, which features an integrated Dynamics Engine and a host of new additions. CINEMA 4D Release 11.5 also provides full support for the latest operating system offerings from Apple and Microsoft, including Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Windows 7, respectively.

In addition, they’re offering a new package bundle called the “Broadcast Edition”, specially targeted at on-air requirements.

The Broadcast Edition is based on the latest version of CINEMA 4D, Release 11.5*, which is loaded with dozens of new features for an unprecedented level of workflow productivity, including a major upgrade to its popular MoGraph module, MoGraph 2. This upgraded module offers an integrated Dynamics Engine and advanced capabilities that help artists quickly create spectacular, high-end 3D animations.
