The History Channel and Aniboom have partnered to create a contest to animate some of the greatest speeches in history, spoken by some of the greatest voices in Hollywood. Download a recording of Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman, Josh Brolin, and others reciting some of the most famous speeches of all time.
To enter, you animate 30s of one of the speeches (available for download from their site) and send in your first cut. They’ll pick 5 of the first cuts to continue onward, and give them each $5,000 to do so. After that they’ll pick finalists to each get a $10k cash price and a $15k development deal, and their animation aired on the History Channel.
