Rumors have begun to circle that NVidia has a 40nm chipset shipping to OEM’s. Codenamed the GT218, and probably ending up as a “GT210”, it’s an entry level product on a 4-layer PCB with 32 stream processors, 512MB GDDR3 memory, and 550/1375/800MHz (core/shader/memory). It’s DirectX10 Compliant, but currently only shipping to the largest OEM’s.
Again, this is a just a rumor, but a fairly believable one.
