For anyone who thinks you can’t make money in Visualization, check this out. Plixer International has just announced Plixer Innovation Labs, a project focused on visualization Cisco NetFlow traffic.
“We have always prided ourselves on our extensive data retention, but there is a lot of work that goes into how we display that information visually to our users,” says Scrutinizer Product Manager, Michael Patterson. “The focus of Plixer Labs is to give Scrutinizer users a glimpse at some of the NetFlow visualization methods we have been trying. Not everything makes it into the final product, but we think some of the ways we visualize network traffic is more involving and exciting than anything else on the market.”
The Scrutinizer Flow Analytics plugin sells for $5,000 .
