‘Magic mirror’ shows real-time muscle data

“Pink Tentacle” has the story of a new visualization system at the University of Tokyo capable of real-time rendering of Muscle Tissue (simulated of course).  It works with 16 electromyographs, 10 motion-capture cameras, and a pair of floor sensors to show the muscles on a connected display, and can evey overlay the results over live video real-time.
