AMD’s new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4860 and HD 4830 at 40nm

In response to NVidia’s earlier  anouncement of new mobile hardware, AMD has just announced new mobile hardware of it’s own.  The ATI Mobility Radeon HD4860 and HD 4830 support DirectX 10.1, dual DisplayPorts, GDDR5 memory (on the 4860), and all of the buzzworthy ATI tricks (PowerPlay, PowerPress, Switchable Graphics).  The big thing, tho, is the switch to a 45nm process.

AMD’s new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4860 and HD 4830 chew pixels with 40nm teeth.
